AFROVOGUE is a 12-week high-fashion reality competition celebrating African couture. Designers from across the continent compete in weekly challenges, showcasing their creativity, craftsmanship, and unique perspectives on African fashion to win the title of the Next Icon of African Couture.
Visit our Apply page and submit your portfolio along with your personal details. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and selected candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the selection process.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, based in Africa, and able to present a portfolio containing a minimum of 5 original fashion designs. Both emerging and established designers are welcome to apply.
Visitors can vote for their favorite designers each week through our platform. Public votes account for 40% of the final score, with the remaining 60% determined by our expert panel of judges. Each visitor may cast one vote per designer per week.
The Grand Finale is scheduled for December 2025 in Accra, Ghana. It will be a spectacular red-carpet event featuring the final runway presentations, live performances, and the crowning of the Next Icon of African Couture.
Tickets for the Grand Finale can be purchased through our Tickets page. Early-bird pricing is available for a limited time. VIP packages include front-row seating, backstage access, and an exclusive after-party invitation.
