1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AFROVOGUE platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not access or use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Competition Rules

AFROVOGUE is a 12-week fashion design competition. By entering, contestants agree to the following:

• All submitted designs must be original works created by the applicant.
• Contestants must be at least 18 years of age and based in Africa.
• Weekly challenge submissions must be received by the stated deadlines. Late submissions will not be considered.
• AFROVOGUE reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who violates competition rules or engages in misconduct.
• Judges' decisions on scoring, challenges, and eliminations are final.

3. Voting Rules

• Each visitor may cast one vote per designer per week.
• Public votes contribute 40% toward each designer's weekly score, with the remaining 60% determined by the judging panel.
• Any attempt to manipulate votes — including the use of bots, scripts, or multiple accounts — will result in vote disqualification and potential account suspension.
• AFROVOGUE reserves the right to audit and invalidate suspicious voting activity.

4. Intellectual Property

Contestants retain ownership of their original designs. By submitting content to AFROVOGUE, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your submissions for the purposes of the competition, marketing, and promotional activities.

All AFROVOGUE branding, logos, website content, and original media are the intellectual property of AFROVOGUE and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

5. User Conduct

When using our platform, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, defame, or threaten other users, contestants, or staff.
• Upload content that is offensive, discriminatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its systems.
• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

AFROVOGUE and its organizers, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, participation in the competition, or reliance on any content provided. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to AFROVOGUE in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users through a prominent notice on the platform or via email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
